O St Teresa of Ávila,
My friend, from you I had the rudest awakening! I was so mistaken to think that I loved Jesus enough, when in truth, I was outside the Castle!
I think about the life I lived before, and how I thought the work that I did was pleasing in His eyes. How very foolish I was, and how thankful I am to have the light of truth from your writing, shine on my soul. Thank you for bringing to light how very mistaken I had been.
As I progressed into this Castle that is His, your words gave me light to understand the part of my soul I never knew existed. Thank you for helping me find my Treasure.
Keep us in your prayers! That we may persevere into the deepest part of our soul, and enter the Mansion where our King resides.
